Corona del Mar is an affluent neighborhood in Newport Beach, California. This Spanish named community is beautifully and aptly named as it is known as the Crown of the Sea. Crystal Cove State Park is a popular site for those interested in hiking, horseback riding or water sports. One unusual feature of the park is the offshore water area which has been designated as an underwater park. Visitors to the park can spend the day fishing, hiking or scuba diving and then camp at one of the three campgrounds in the evening. The park offers a complete adventure for outdoor enthusiasts.

Big Corona State Beach stretches a half mile wide and is a traditional beach area with volleyball players, sunbathers, surfers and divers. It is framed by cliffs and a rock jetty giving visitors a beautiful backdrop to their Pacific Ocean experience. Although Corona del Mar is a small community located within Newport Beach, it is almost as if it is a village of its own. The community receives its municipal services from the City of Newport Beach but has its own chamber of commerce and residents can receive mail addressed to Corona del Mar if they live in the 92625 zip code.

Since the community is located within Newport Beach, residents or visitors can take advantage of all that Newport Beach has to offer as well. There is something delightful about being able to live or stay in a small, beautiful seaside community yet travel a short distance to experience other cultural and recreational pursuits.

There are several large conference rooms for meetings and functions. These cover an area of almost 17,000 square feet. In all, there are 10 meeting rooms to choose from, apart from the Grand ballroom, which is really large. Many of these meeting rooms have a terrace attached to them. Almost all of them offer picturesque view of the bay. The hotel also has large enough well maintained grounds overlooking the sea and sailboats. These are suitable for weddings and other social events.
